Institute for Advanced Payments and Identity Security

The Secure Technology Alliance Institute for Advanced Payments and Identity Security serves as the training and education organization for the Alliance. Through the institute, educational programs, training and certification courses, webinars, and workshops are developed and conducted to provide objective and timely information on advanced payments technology, identity management and security technologies and related services. These educational resources involve present and future payments, identity and security applications involving smart cards, mobile devices, security tokens, embedded security hardware and software, and related technologies. The Institute offers both online and classroom-based courses and certification testing to Alliance members and the public, including private industry, government, and the public sector.

The Institute’s advanced educational programs are products of the collaboration of teams of subject-matter experts from leading organizations that are members of the Secure Technology Alliance.  Training courses and live presentations feature expert speakers with extensive professional resumes to provide participants with a solid understanding of technology, standards and applications being presented. In-person workshops and certification classes are held across the United States and internationally in conjunction with Alliance events or in partnership with other industry events.
