### The Financial and Mobile NFC Smart Card Markets

It feels like yesterday that I was talking about our 10th annual Government Conference, first encouraging each of you to join us, and then recapping what was certainly one of the highlights of a very busy and satisfying year for the Smart Card Alliance. Now I invite you to attend the 2012 Payments Summit next month in Salt Lake City, where we’ll be taking a comprehensive look at the future of “all payments.” We are very excited about this event, which already has more than 300 registrants. I also invite you to check out our first-ever [eYearbook](https://www.securetechalliance.org/publications-2011-e-yearbook), which is filled with photos of our 2011 events and the networking and knowledge sharing that took place.
