The workshop will educate potential relying parties and accelerate mDL adoption through technical discussions, an exchange of piloting and early adoption information and mDL technology demonstrations. Accepting mDLs can enhance the customer service experience, streamline customer flows, and reduce the acceptance of false documents. This workshop will offer the opportunity for stakeholders to discuss implementation and adoption challenges, identify best practices, and highlight friction points and risks. The Alliance will also host an AAMVA and ISO-led regional mDL test event for North America prior to the mDL Workshop. Attendees at the mDL Workshop are welcome to join participants from the mDL test event and the U.S. Payment Forum Fall Member Meeting at an afternoon introductory session covering use cases, technical demonstrations, and a social event on Wednesday, November 10th. The mDL Workshop takes place on Thursday, November 11th. All sessions will be available for virtual or in-person attendance. Secure Technology Alliance and U.S. Payments Forum member organizations who wish to add additional participants to attend the workshop can pay $195 for each additional person during early registration. After October 14th, fee is $295 (regular registration) for each additional person.
