LEAP is an online, members-only organization for smart card professionals that advances education and professional development, and manages the CSICP exam program. We encourage you to visit the LEAP and CSCIP portions of our website for news and updates. Thank you for your membership and interest, and please email us with any suggestions for future content.
CSCIP Reaches Milestone
By the end of 2013, the Smart Card Alliance had awarded certifications to more than 200 executives globally since the CSCIP program’s inception in 2009. In mid-2012, the CSCIP/Payments credential was added to the existing CSICP and CSCIP/Government designations. Regardless of the specific credential, all CSCIP certifications require proficiency in a broad range of industry knowledge. It’s widely accepted that the CSCIP certification has become the benchmark for executives in a competitive market where up-to-date knowledge and experience are crucial. We encourage you to remain engaged and utilize your industry knowledge and applications experience to further your professional development.
The Class of 2013 – CSCIP/Payments
Congratulations to the 19 individuals who received their CSCIP/P credential in 2013; by passing the exam, these individuals not only demonstrated proficiency in a broad range of industry knowledge, but also familiarity of EMV and EMV migration, mobile and NFC payments, and smart card use in card and account-based transit payment systems.
