Smart Card Alliance to Host Workshop on Mobile Identity and Access Control at ISC West

Princeton Junction, N.J., March 27, 2013–Executives interested in learning how ubiquitous mobile devices can be used for identity and access control applications should attend a full-day Smart Card Alliance workshop at ISC West 2013 next month. The ”Learn to Leverage Mobile Devices in Physical and Logical Access Security” workshop will be held on April 9, 2013 from 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. PT at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas. The interactive workshop will provide attendees with a detailed understanding of new uses for mobile devices, including storing and presenting secure digital identity credentials for signing email and accessing secure networks,and using NFC-enabled mobile devices for physical access. Expert presenters will examine how to securely provision mobile devices and discuss various data storage models and use cases for mobile credentials for commercial (CIV and PIV-I) and government (PIV) identity applications.
