ACS an Exhibitor in Smart Card Alliance Government Conference 2014

Hong Kong, October 22, 2014 — Advanced Card Systems Ltd. (ACS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Advanced Card Systems Holdings Ltd., SEHK: 8210), Asia Pacific’s top supplier and one of the world’s top 3 suppliers of PC-linked smart card readers (Source: Frost & Sullivan), will participate in the Smart Card Alliance Government Conference 2014, to be held in Washington DC, USA from Oct 29 to 30, 2014. ACS will also be a moderator in one of the event’s track sessions.

Smart Card Alliance Government Conference is the largest annual showcase for government projects in ID and security. This year, the conference will be held in Walter E. Washington Convention Center. It convenes over 75 speakers and a wide variety of technology leaders. On Oct 30, Mr. Robert Merkert, ACS President for the Americas, will moderate a discussion on international ID security use cases.

ACS will exhibit the ACR39U, a CAC and PIV card reader with a high read/write speed of 600 kbps. ACS will also be showing demos of the ACR39T, a SIM-sized contact smart card reader with USB or MicroUSB OTG interface; and the ACR3901U-S1, a mobile contact card reader with Bluetooth 4.0 to facilitate government application on mobile platform.
