CoreStreet PIVMAN Solution Completes TSA Evaluation

Leading Mobile Identity Verification Solution now Available for TWIC Pilot Programs

Cambridge, Mass., October 6, 2008–CoreStreet, the leader in credential validation solutions, today announced that its CoreStreet PIVMAN Solution, running on multiple handheld devices, successfully completed each of the Initial Capability Evaluation (ICE) scenarios as described in the Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). As a result of this successful evaluation, participants in the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) pilot program can now utilize the CoreStreet PIVMAN Solution, the only TWIC-approved identity verification solution operating on multiple platforms.

The CoreStreet PIVMAN Solution allows for the rapid, secure electronic authentication and validation of TWIC, and other FIPS-201 compliant and interoperable credentials such as the Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card, the Department of Defense’s (DoD) Common Access Card (CAC) Next Generation and the First Responder Authentication Credential (FRAC).

“We are pleased that the CoreStreet PIVMAN Solution is on the ICE list,” said David Belchick, Product Manager, CoreStreet. “We look forward to working with Port Authorities in the TWIC Pilot Program, including Los Angeles, Long Beach, Brownsville, and New York/New Jersey, to implement solutions addressing their key security requirements.”

The CoreStreet PIVMAN Solution provides the only TWIC compatible reader which has been in operational use for more than three years in the DoD, Department of Homeland Security (DHS), various states, and which appears on the FIPS 201 Approved Products List.

The CoreStreet PIVMAN Solution also provides the only TWIC-approved reader listed on the DHS Responder knowledge base allowing ports, states and municipalities to have their purchase fully reimbursed by DHS grants. The CoreStreet PIVMAN Solution is available for immediate delivery and implementation, and can be procured through multiple contracting vehicles.
