CTST Gets a Makeover from the Smart Card Alliance
Q: How do you revitalize CTST into the “go to” conference on the future of payments and security?
A: By combining the knowledge base and industry experience of the Smart Card Alliance Annual Conference with the event expertise and marketing resources of SourceMedia to create CTST2008 – The Americas Conference. The combined event expects to draw 2,500 attendees and 100 exhibitors in Orlando, Florida, on May 12-15, 2008.
“We saw an opportunity to link up with SourceMedia and thought it was a good fit for the Alliance. Our strength is in industry connections and contacts and both organizations complemented each other. We knew that combined we could put together a larger conference event,” said Randy Vanderhoof, Executive Director of the Smart Card Alliance.
The conference has four major tracks on identification and policy, payments, mobile and NFC, and security and access control. “We’re trying to bring everyone together to see the convergence of applications and markets,” adds Vanderhoof.
