Datacard Group Supports RoHS Compliance
Minnetonka, Minn., June 13, 2006–Datacard Group today confirmed its support of the European Union’s Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive, which limits the use of environmentally harmful substances in electronic and electric equipment. Many of the company’s existing offerings, as well as all newly developed products, are or will be RoHS compliant by the July 1, 2006, deadline.

The company will soon comply with several of its high volume systems including the newly released Datacard® MX6000™ card issuance system and Datacard® PB6500™ passport issuance system as well as the industry leading Datacard® Maxsys™ card issuance and Datacard® MXD™ card delivery systems.
