Gemalto aids Sichuan earthquake victims

Beijing, May 22, 2008–Gemalto (Euronext NL0000400653 GTO) employees at its greater China offices and Goldpac subsidiary have contributed over RMB 750,000 to the Red Cross Society of China, in support for relief work towards helping victims of the devastating earthquake in the Sichuan province of China on May 12, 2008. Gemalto offices in other countries also participated to different contributions towards the disaster relief through relief funds in their areas.

Contributions from employees were matched dollar for dollar by the company.

Gemalto and its employees worldwide want to express their deepest sympathy and condolences for the victims and their families, and hope for the fast healing and recovery from this terrible disaster.
