HID Showcases Seamless Integration of ID Badge Issuance, Logical Access, Mobile ID Verification, Biometric Authentication, and Cashless Vending Applications on iCLASS Contactless Smart Cards

Haverhill, UK, November 9, 2005–HID Corporation, the premier manufacturer of contactless access control cards and readers for the security industry, today announced that it will demonstrate new 13.56 MHz iCLASS contactless smart card technology application solutions with the company’s iCLASS development partners VMC, SMI, Consultance, Bioscrypt and Synercard in stand 3F 030 at Cartes 2005 in Paris, France from 15-17, November.

For the first time in HID history, the company will focus on its iCLASS contactless smart cards and the applications already available on the market. HID will invite every booth visitor to have their own credential instantly created and enrolled at one of the two enrollment stations in the stand, which demonstrates the process of creating a full-working credential from start to finish while including a number of HID’s core security features. Enrollment includes fingerprint, logical access, physical access control, cashless vending, mobile verification and card printing.
