HID Corporation appoints David Sullivan new Managing Director of EMEA

Haverhill, UK, February 24, 2005–HID, the premier manufacturer of contactless access control cards and readers for the security industry, today announced that David Sullivan has been appointed to managing director of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region for HID Corporation Ltd effective March 1, 2005. He succeeds Spencer Hall who is retiring from the company in June of this year.

“David is a highly-motivated executive with an established track record of effective leadership and accomplishments here at HID and within ASSA ABLOY,” said Denis Hébert, president of HID. “He has developed strong relationships with our customers and partners in the EMEA region and brings a solid background of experience in the security industry to serve the growth initiatives HID has set forth in 2005.”

Sullivan, a founding HID executive with over 20 years of security industry experience returns to HID after holding the executive vice president of Business Development position at ASSA ABLOY’s Identification Technology Group. Directly familiar with the EMEA region, Sullivan previously held the vice president of Business Development for HID Corporation Ltd. Prior to that, he held various sales positions with increasing responsibility at HID Corporation in the United States. He holds a bachelor’s of science degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Kansas.
