HID Showcases iCLASS Application Solutions for ID Badge Issuance, Logical Access, Mobile ID Verification, Parking Control, Industrial Applications, and Cashless Payment; Demonstrates VertX CS with Bold Technologies and DICE Corporation

LAS VEGAS, Nev., April 6, 2005–HID Corporation, the premier manufacturer of contactless access control cards and readers for the security industry, today announced new 13.56 MHz iCLASS contactless smart card technology application solutions to be demonstrated with HID iCLASS development partners DigiOn24, SMI, Nedap, RF IDeas, and DXStorm along with HID SMARTS Program partner Gemplus at ISC West 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada. At HID’s booth #14047, the company will also demonstrate VertX CS, HID’s new family of central station managed access controllers with development partners Bold Technologies and DICE Corporation.

In addition, HID will present its full line of iCLASS contactless smart card and reader products including their FIPS 201-compliant readers, proximity card readers, and bioCLASS biometric readers. Also on display in HID’s booth will be a technology-migration kiosk and full array of HID credential technologies.

For the first time at an industry trade show, the HID booth will feature the company’s new SMART BAR, staffed by HID subject-matter experts with experience in smart card and reader, proximity card and reader technologies as well as access control technology migration knowledge, and more to provide a resource for established customers, partners, prospects, and specifiers, Members of the media and all show attendees are encouraged to stop by the SMART BAR to have their questions answered.
