ICMA EXPO Format Expands to Better Serve Members’ Needs

Keynote Speaker Katty Kay, BBC, to Discuss Global Business Influencers

Princeton Junction, NJ, February 14, 2013–With a continued focus on meeting members’ needs, the International Card Manufacturers Association (ICMA) has expanded the format of its Annual Card Manufacturing and Personalization EXPO, June 4-7, 2013 at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park in Washington, D.C., USA.

The new format will feature Your Focus sessions on topics such as personalization, EMV migration in the U.S., advanced technologies, card manufacturing issues and leadership, sales and marketing, enabling attendees to customize their EXPO experience. These concurrent breakout sessions will inspire an interactive discussion among members with common interests. New interactive roundtable sessions, led by moderators, will give attendees the opportunity to analyze and explore current and future market forces and innovations. Another new addition features exhibitors delivering innovation showcase sessions in the exhibit hall.

“This year’s educational format further emphasizes that ICMA is our members’ association,” said Jeffrey Barnhart, ICMA Executive Director. “The association’s goal is to help our members learn about the relevant issues and topics that directly affect their company and the industry every day, and what better way to achieve that than to allow them to customize their meeting experience.”

Lead Anchor for BBC, Katty Kay, will deliver the EXPO keynote address. Reporting on global economies and world trouble spots, Kay covers the full gamut of global affairs. Her keen instinct and reporting expertise help audiences clearly understand the most complex global issues. In her presentation, Kay will discuss global business influencers such as culture and politics.

Each year, the EXPO continues to provide professionals in all facets of the card business an open forum to connect with potential clients and industry colleagues while learning about the latest card trends and techniques.
