LEGIC based flexible ID systems from the new LEGIC partner Professional Services
LEGIC Identsystems Ltd, a leading provider of contactless smart card technology for personal identification, is extending its partner network and cooperating with the systems house Professional Services GmbH Datentechnik. The company’s ID systems are thus available for a wide variety of different operating systems based on the latest LEGIC advant technology. As an OEM provider, Professional Services primarily concentrates on the development of card management and coding solutions for end customers and customisers.
Zurich, June 2010–The firm, which was founded in 1991, offers its partners the possibility of marketing a fast, modern and highly flexible card management system in their own name. Through the partnership with LEGIC, the PSDCard™ card management system offers a fully integrated LEGIC advant module for reading, managing and developing highly secure multi-application ID cards in just one work step.
Professional Services’ modern, modular software modules for image capture, layout creation, card printing and encryption allow quick and easy integration into existing applications. Professional Services thus makes it possible for all LEGIC partners to simply and cost-effectively enhance the functions of already existing LEGIC software solutions.
Through the partnership with Professional Services, LEGIC gains an experienced OEM partner for ID systems that also offers encryption software for Linux and Apple Macintosh. This marks a further step in LEGIC advant technology’s global expansion. Professional Services, with its complete multilingual modules, is optimally prepared for this step.
“Professional Services is also setting new standards in terms of application customisation. With PSDCard™, image, personal and coding data can be sent by end customers to Professional Services’ partners online. It has never been safer or easier to put into service a fully customised LEGIC advant ID card. The AESencrypted transmission protocol specially developed for this purpose guarantees the highest data security when sending information to LEGIC partners,” remarks Ulf Bernstorff, Professional Services’ CEO.
“The partnership with LEGIC has allowed us to increase the attractiveness of our solutions for our end customers even further,” Ulf Bernstorff continues. “We can thus react to the growing demand for contactless LEGIC solutions and add an important technology to our portfolio.”
Dr Otto Eggimann, LEGIC’s Vice President Sales and Business Development, is also anticipating a lastingly positive business development from the partnership: “Professional Services possesses a high degree of professional expertise with an innovative offering for ID systems. As an established systems house, our new partner is building on good ground with LEGIC and ensuring its access to our technological know-how.”
