Zurich, October 29, 2008–LEGIC Identsystems Ltd, leading provider of contactless smart card technology for personal identification, shows various innovative enhancements of its proven LEGIC advant technology platform at Cartes & Identification show in Paris. The leading fair for digital security and smart card technologies will be held form November 4 to 6 2008 in Paris-Nord Villepinte. In hall 4 at stand N72, LEGIC will demonstrate further developments of its technology as well as a multitude of LEGIC based applications.

LEGIC credential via mobile network

As a novelty on the world market, LEGIC showcases the secure transfer of a virtual LEGIC multi-application card via mobile network on an NFC mobile phone. With this innovation, LEGIC demonstrates an important further development of its proven card-in-card solutions.

LEGIC card-in-card solutions

LEGIC card-in-card solutions allow to integrate applications on virtual LEGIC transponders into contactless or dual interface Smart Cards provided by third parties. This allows–for example–a combination of logical PC access and physical access control on one single Smart Card. A mobile phone, thus, can also operate as an access control credential or credit cards can be used as multi-functional membership cards.

New functionalities of proven Master-Token System Control™ (MTSC)

At Cartes 2008, LEGIC will be presenting the latest extensions of its well-proven security and control system. An innovative counting function forms a central component of the new functionalities. This means organisations are able to define exactly how many company badges a card manufacturer may create. This increases integrated control over issued credentials.

From November 4 to 7, LEGIC will also be present at Expoprotection show, at Parc des Expositions in Paris-Nord Villepinte, Hall 5, Stand Q14.
