AIX-EN-PROVENCE, France, Aug. 26 /PRNewswire/–Inside Contactless, formerly known as Inside Technologies, announced today the appointment of Stephen Riegel, former Texas Instruments Business Development Manager for the East Coast US as Vice President of Business development for the North American region.

Inside Contactless has hired Mr. Riegel to drive business development activities in this region. Stephen will be in charge of the upcoming office based in the US, and will be the main contact for the existing and future customers in this region. Mr. Riegel will report directly to Jacek Kowalski, Chief Executive Officer of Inside Contactless.

In his latest experience, Mr. Riegel was the Business Development Manager at Texas Instrument for the RFID market where he was in charge of developing relationships with financial institutions and related integrators to promote TI’s technology.

Prior to this experience, Stephen was also involved in the RFID market as Business Development Manager for Motorola Inc. There, he was responsible for the development of VAR networks, strategic relationships, direct sales and launching a new product line. His key accomplishments were: initiating and leading smart card transit projects in New York, Boston, and Montreal; developing multi-application projects with Disney and Wachovia Bank; and winning Access Control contracts with the Canadian Federal Government. With Inside Contactless, Stephen will continue to identify, motivate, and direct efforts, in pursuit of major smart card opportunities.

Mr. Riegel received his MBA from the University of Delaware and his BA in Business from Lynchburg College in Virginia.
