The 2008 BFM Awards Recognize Gemalto’s Stock Market Performance

Every year, BFM Radio – France’s leading business-oriented radio station – acknowledges most innovative and entrepreneurial companies.

Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Nov 18, 2008–Gemalto (Euronext NL0000400653 GTO), the world leader in digital security, has been awarded the prize for the “best stock market performance” by the 2008 BFM Awards.

The jury, comprising the station’s leading journalists, selected companies and managers nominated in five categories: Best family business, Entrepreneur of the year, the Jury’s special prize, the BFM manager prize and the Best stock market performance. The Best stock market performance prize recognizes the best one-year performance among the companies forming the SBF120 index of Euronext, which regroups the 120 most important companies traded in Paris.

The results were announced on the 17th of November during a prestigious ceremony at the Théâtre Marigny in Paris, which was attended by 1,000 guests including major economic leaders and personalities in France.
