VeriFone to Showcase Wide Range of Products for the Petro Industry

NEC Birmingham, UK, March 1-3, 2009 – VeriFone, the global leader in secure electronic payment solutions, will be demonstrating a wide variety of payment systems at IFFE, including rugged, unattended and outdoor devices, PIN pads, contactless technology options and PAYware payment software. VeriFone will be exhibiting at the show for the first time (Stand E31).

VeriFone’s new Vx 700 is an outdoor-rated unattended keypad that can be mounted into a variety of kiosk units and is particularly suitable for outdoor vending systems. It has been designed to withstand extreme variations of temperature and weather conditions and is also vandal resistant. It is also PCI PED security approved, and has a 128×64 graphical display with optional backlighting for ease of use in areas with restricted lighting. The Vx 700 can be used with a variety of card-accepting devices and can also easily support contactless payment cards.

VeriFone has a wide range of unattended solutions for a variety of applications and many will be on display at IFFE. For instance, the company’s OP 4100 is a PCI secure system for outdoor kiosk and pay-at-pump solutions, while its sister device, the OP 3100 is ideal for both indoor and outdoor environments.

The Secura range of integration modules offer great versatility for those looking to quickly and cost-effectively deploy secure payment technology within existing systems.

Integrating these systems with VeriFone’s PAYware software opens up numerous applications for the technology and, at IFFE, the VeriFone team will be able to discuss how unattended payment systems can benefit retailers by increasing customer throughput and loyalty.
