The new application–ID Keeper^SM–stores and “remembers” multiple web sites, online IDs and passwords; offers consumers easy, automated access and entry to favorite web sites; and provides a secure, convenient way to navigate and shop online.

The free ID Keeper application can be obtained by going to http://americanexpress.com/idkeeper, inserting Blue from American Express into a smart card reader, and downloading ID Keeper directly from the Internet. Cardmembers can then establish their personal profile of favorite web sites, IDs, passwords, and other information–which then helps users navigate and shop online at their favorite web sites without having to recall and enter multiple URLs, passwords, IDs, and other data. The Internet download capability was developed through the Datacard® Affina™ Life Cycle Management System, a product of the Datacard Group.
