CoreStreet Announces CoreStreet PIVMAN for Lenel Solution

Leading Mobile Identity Verification Solution Now Integrates with OnGuard by Lenel

Cambridge, Massachusetts, April 1, 2009 – CoreStreet, the leader in credential validation solutions, today announced immediate availability of the CoreStreet PIVMAN for Lenel Solution. The solution provides all the features available in the standard CoreStreet PIVMAN suite of products, with the additional benefit of integration with the OnGuard® solution by Lenel.

The standard CoreStreet PIVMAN Solution aggregates identity and attribute information from a variety of trusted sources for access to government buildings, port facilities or disaster sites as part of the National Preparedness Framework. Through integration with OnGuard, the CoreStreet PIVMAN for Lenel Solution allows access levels configured in OnGuard to be displayed on mobile handhelds running the CoreStreet PIVMAN Client software. Furthermore, the CoreStreet PIVMAN for Lenel Solution retrieves audit logs from the Clients and uploads them to OnGuard for display in the Alarm Monitoring application, and for use in activities such as mustering and reporting.

Credentials supported by the CoreStreet PIVMAN Solution for rapid electronic authentication and validation are the Personal Identity Verification (PIV) cards, DoD’s Common Access Card (CAC), First Responder Authentication Credential (FRAC), Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) as well as legacy credentials such as AAMVA compliant drivers’ licenses.

The CoreStreet PIVMAN for Lenel Solution integrates with OnGuard through the CoreStreet PIVMAN Connector for Lenel, which links into the OnGuard DataConduIT API by Lenel for the automatic bi-directional exchange of cardholder access levels and audit logs.

“We successfully finalized certification of the CoreStreet PIVMAN for Lenel Solution with OnGuard, including required factory testing, during the month of March,” said Raffaele Ceravolo, director of strategic alliances for Lenel. “This solution expands on the already certified Card-Connected Solution to provide a feature rich integration by taking advantage of the comprehensive OnGuard DataConduIT™ API.”

“The CoreStreet PIVMAN Solution has served a critical role in disaster-related DHS FEMA demonstrations such as Spring Blitz, Winter Blast and Summer Breeze. It has been deployed in support of programs within numerous federal agencies and state first responder initiatives, and has also been approved by the Transportation Security Administration for inclusion on the ICE list for TWIC readers,” said Chris Broderick, CEO, CoreStreet. “By providing integration with OnGuard, we respond to the demands from our customers for converged IT and physical security solutions, specifically to display access level privileges that are centrally managed in physical access control systems on mobile identity verification devices.”

The CoreStreet PIVMAN for Lenel Solution is available for immediate delivery and implementation. For more information or a list of implementation partners in your area, please contact your local CoreStreet representative or e-mail your request to CoreStreet at info@corestreet.com.
