Cambridge, Massachusetts, April 1, 2009 – CoreStreet, the leader in credential validation solutions, and MaxID, the rugged handheld technology group, today announced they have formed a partnership to market the CoreStreet PIVMAN Solution on MaxID’s iDLMax biometric handheld device which targets the Identity Management and Access Control industry.

The iDLMax integrates enhanced features for the widest range of identity management applications. Additional card reading capabilities are provided by the combined contactless and smart card reader, which is FIPS-201 compliant and has iClass® capabilities with optional magnetic swipe. This allows the operator to screen credentials including passports, e-passports, Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC), Common Access Cards (CAC), First Responder Authentication Cards (FRAC), Personal Identity Verification (PIV), drivers’ licenses and other documents. The latest digital camera technology offers fast acquisition of FIPS-201 compliant facial images, even under low-light levels.

The CoreStreet PIVMAN Suite of software products provides solutions for several of today’s most critical identity and access management challenges in the area of homeland security. Whether providing improved maritime and transportation security through the TWIC program, enhanced emergency management response through the DHS FEMA FRAC program, or simply expanding access to military facilities by linking existing Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) to the DoD’s CAC cards, the CoreStreet PIVMAN Suite provides the solution based on field-proven, massively scalable and secure technology.
