Dear Members and Friends of the Alliance,
This year has already kicked off with a busy agenda of activities. Coming off a very successful 2013 Payments Conference, we are now hard at work on the NFC Solutions Summit, as well as planning webinars and getting resources ready for publication. As details and logistics fill my mind, I also make sure to keep an eye on the larger picture, which is this. The Smart Card Alliance is recognized as the single industry voice for smart card technology, leading the discussion on the impact and value of smart cards in the U.S. and Latin America. The staff and I take this role very seriously, and it is my hope that we continue to provide valuable information to our members and friends. And while our events provide opportunities for us to interact with you in a somewhat informal setting at times, your feedback assures me that we continue to meet your needs. I’m looking forward to all that 2013 will bring, and invite you to be an active participant.
