This first of its kind secure storage device is a zero-footprint smart card protected flash drive that meets U.S. military 810-F environmental standard and is now available to secure the mobile data of U.S. government employees.

Agencies have the option to strongly bind the SG FIPS to their employees government issued PIV credential granting access to the protected storage based upon a successful PIV authentication. Using this kind of two-factor authentication ensures that only the authorized PIV user has access to the data on the device. Any attempts to tamper with the device will result in destruction of the smart card crypto module rendering it useless to intruders.

Manufactured in the United States, the rugged and waterproof SG FIPS is plug-and-play on multiple operating systems including Windows™ and Mac OS™. It utilizes fast and reliable SLC USB flash memory, and ensures any data transferred to and from the device is safe through the built-in option to enable always-on McAfee anti-malware and anti-virus software.
