Integri to offer chip-related migration services to MasterCard customers

Brussels, Belgium, 1 September 2009 – Integri, a Clear2Pay company and leading provider of test tools and expertise, announces today that it has been accredited by MasterCard to offer professional services to support their customers with their EMV chip migration.

Integri is now officially accredited to provide technical guidance to international MasterCard customers during the preparation phase of their EMV projects. This includes support and planning of chip implementation projects in addition to providing information on impacts and processes. Building on more than 17 years of expertise in payment and testing, Integri has a unique knowledge of chip technologies and is able to rapidly set-up a fitting service program to support MasterCard customers across the world and advance their growth. Only a select number of companies will be accredited over the following years to supply similar services.

The global migration to the EMV standard is rolling out at full speed but is far from being complete. Many banks however do not have the means or the aspiration to develop extensive chip expertise. With this program, MasterCard answers a genuine need in the market to supply financial institutions with the necessary support and expertise for the implementation of their EMV projects.

“We are very enthusiastic about this program as it allows us to share our smart card expertise and to add value to MasterCard customers’ EMV projects.” said Jan De Meester, CEO at Integri. He adds “Integri values its long history with MasterCard and is the sole supplier of the Authorization Simulator that MasterCard customers utilise to test their connection to the payment network. Our company possesses an extensive knowledge of the end-to-end card payment chain in addition to the strong understanding of the MasterCard products and it therefore goes without saying that we would be one of the first to market”

Christian Delporte, Head of Chip Engineering for MasterCard commented “It is crucial for us to ensure that our customers are supported by third-parties who have full knowledge of MasterCard requirements and processes. Integri has both cutting edge payment solutions and vast experience in managing large international payment projects. Moreover, the people from their Expert Centre, a specialized card payment knowledge department, successfully passed the most stringent training requirements that are mandatory for accreditation. MasterCard will inform its customers about the accredited companies via the MasterCard OnLine™ website.”
