The GSA APL serves as a buying guide for all US Federal Government Agencies to assure that the products and services they are purchasing are in compliance with the current guidelines and technical specifications. Oberthur Technologies’ ID-One™ PIV is a physical and logical security access card solution that provides identity proofing, general authentication services and secures post issuance management. ID-One™ PIV offers a fingerprint match-on-card implementation which provides the ability to perform cardholder verification and authentication inside the card. It is the only smart card to date with a match-on-card implementation validated by both FIPS 140-2 and Minex II. Other new features include stronger cryptographic algorithms, key history and iris image from SP800-73-3¹.
