Gemalto Leads Digital Security Industry in CSCIP Professional Certifications
Washington D.C., Smart Cards in Government Conference, November 16, 2010–Gemalto, the world leader in digital security, today announced that 21 of its team members in North America have earned the distinction of Certified Smart Card Industry Professional (CSCIP). The Smart Card Alliance CSCIP certification, offered under its Leadership, Education and Advancement Program program, recognizes professionals who have an advanced level of technology knowledge and experience, and have passed a certification exam developed by experts. This achievement puts Gemalto in the forefront of professional certifications in the industry, with its employees holding almost half of the total certifications awarded under the program.
“With 21 CSCIPs awarded, more than any other industry organization to date, the Alliance applauds Gemalto’s enthusiastic and broad participation in our program,” said Randy Vanderhoof, executive director of the Smart Card Alliance. “The CSCIP designation from a respected industry body allows employees and their organizations to establish strong credentials and sets them apart from the pack.”
“Gemalto is committed to providing our customers with the best digital security options available,” added Paul Beverly, president Gemalto North America. “Our employees are dedicated to constantly deepening their industry expertise to help serve the business needs of our customers. Our Telecom, Banking and Government customers benefit from our knowledge and accumulated experience as they design best class security into their final products and services.”
