At the Experience Gemalto Zone, Madam Halimah was introduced to innovative, upcoming technology such as NFC (Near-Field Communication) and e-government solutions. During her visit, Madam Halimah expressed her support for the services and benefits that digital security technology is able to offer to citizens in Singapore today. In particular, Madam Halimah showed strong interest in Gemalto’s Health ID solutions, which she hopes to see offered in Singapore.

Singapore remains one of the key markets for us here, and we are strongly committed to growing the adoption of the latest in technology in the Republic,” added Tan Teck Lee, President of Gemalto Asia.
